Friends Only.
Rules:

x. Comment on this post if you wish to be added, I don't spend a lot of time looking at my 'Friends Of' list...so if you don't comment I won't know you want to be added.

x. Add me before you ask to be added (this is mostly for Friends Only journals, so I can see who you are.)

x. Make sure we have a couple of common interests (or we have a couple of the same friends.)

x. Please tell me your name in the comment you leave me. I don't want to keep calling you "the one kid with the icon" even though it's endearing at first.

x. There is a 99% chance that I will add you if you follow the above four rules, I'm pretty friendly.

Also, the Friends Only Banner is made by me...so don't steal it. K? ♥

Maybe it's just me...but wasn't Zeffirelli ahead of his time when he cast Zac Efron as Romeo!? I mean, who knew the kid would be so big now-a-days!?

Evidence )

I mean, sure, he looks a *teensy* bit different, now, what? 40 years later? But, in essence..

Further instruction )

...maybe it's just the hair? Leonard Whiting has much better cheek bones

But, in all seriousness, I'm watching Romeo + Juliet again. I'm going to watch the Luhrman version tonight, hopefully. Why is Shakespeare so amazing?

THE GREATEST THING I'VE EVER WITNESSED IN THE SIMS HAPPENED TODAY!!!!! (Even greater than my good luck with genetics.)

LILAC GOT COVERED IN BEES!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so pleased, [info]happypeppypunk I didn't know this was possible until I saw it.

Welcome to my Annual Book Challenge for 2009. You can find the two parts of my book challenge for 2008 below along with a survey about my reading habits. For 2009 I am challenging myself to read 52 books within the year. This can include re-reads, children's books, plays, audiobooks...whatever I decide to count for the challenge. Last year I read 73 books and was going to bump up my challenge to 75. But because I'll be starting college this year I figured 52 would do again for this year just as a testing point.

What I'm Watching

Me > Everyone Else

Some people have friends. I have people my age who I babysit (+ a few jewels like [info]cashmerekisses, [info]happypeppypunk, [info]smathers and [info]kris932 + precious few others...thank god for them)

Some people have hobbies. I obsessive compulsively make icons.

Some people go out and have fun. I stay at my other grandma's if I'm feeling very outgoing.

Some people paint nails, do makeup and giggle at sleepovers. I force people to watch 1408 and Saw II while trying not to sing "We've Only Just Begun" or fall asleep at the sound of Donnie Wahlberg's voice.

Some people travel lightly. I carry a laptop, four seasons of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Band of Brothers and several books + other DVDs wherever I go.

Some people shop for clothes. I sort through big piles of dusty books and literally squeal with joy when I find one on 'my list.'

Some people have big plans for Spring Break. I'm just waiting for the summer after my senior year so I can go on a road trip with a chick from Florida <3

Some people have cell phones. I dropped mine in tea.

Some people are pretty cool. I am amazing.

(Yes, I'm a narcissist. I blame Benadryl.)

Oh, and I'm still sick. However, my sore throat is better...my cough is worse, but, meh.

Nobody is on MSN =(

Also, I got an e-mail from Gateway:

Hello Devon,

Thank you for your e-mail. If the bottom right screw popped out of your
notebook, you may send your system for service.

Thanks Gateway, you helped a lot -_-
How am I supposed to send the laptop to them if it won't close? I think I'll take it somewhere tomorrow, I'm sure there's somewhere in town that can put a stupid screw back in...maybe.

Also, five days left of Paint Shop Pro:

Tell your friends because I'm only posting this here.

REQUESTS CLOSED, thanks for the requests guys! =)
